For the last 4 weeks, I have been using a really awesome product that a collegaue prototyped, and today it went live to the public! Hooray!
For a long time, AOL Music has been providing a feature called CD Listening Party. Every week they get the rights to 10 albums or so, which they stream for free. I had never been a huge fan of the experience until recently.
After acquiring a small company called Streampad, the AOL Music team integrated the CD Listening Party experience to create an extremely user friendly and flat out cool feature that I use everyday! I have never been one to be a cheerleader for AOL. I am the first to admit it has a long way to go, and this is a first step that the AOL Music team should be very proud of.
